Our new community project – Borrow a Book Bag Adventure aims to honour community members’ much-loved novels and spread the joy of reading.

Our book bags are filled with a delicious assortment of novels that have touched someone’s heart, fuelled a passion or generated a chuckle.

A selection of our novels are registered with BookCrossing – look for the special insert.
BookCrossing is a celebration of literature and a place where books get new life. Each book registered with BookCrossing has a unique identity so, as the book is passed from reader to reader, it can be tracked to see where it travels. “BookCrossers” love books and they love to share them.

This is reading for leisure – no pressure to finish and return at a set date, take your time and saviour each new book that pops out of your bag!

Each book will have a page where you can review the read and let others know what you thought of it.

Borrow a book bag from Mt Evelyn Community House, enjoy the reads, then return the bag and choose more! Come in and see the team to get started.

Do you have a book you’d love to share and set free? We will be accepting books in good condition to add to our sharing collection.

Course confirmation
All courses are confirmed prior to commencement. If a course doesn't go ahead you will receive a refund or you can transfer to another course.
Payment
Where the activity attracts a cost, payment is required before commencement of the activity. Payment can be in-person at the Community House or via EFT directly into the bank account. Your participation is important to us. If the cost of a course is stopping you from becoming involved, please talk to us.
