Movers & Groovers is a weekly class of music and movement. Each session you and your child will learn songs, sing favourites, dance to music and play instruments all while focusing on developmental growth.

Sessions will be focused on key areas of musical learning including song transition (singing hello), body percussion, finger & hand play songs/games, rhythm through instruments, concepts of fast & slow, loud & soft, drama & movements to songs, dance-game songs, movements with props such as scarves and ribbons, relaxation/calming the body exercises (reading books related to rhythm, rhyming, colours, animals & relaxation with parachute play, breath with bubbles).

Parents and children will learn ways to incorporate movement and music into their day, creating space for children to explore how their bodies work, relaxation techniques, and how to include the children’s interests and make music fun, and enjoyable.

Suitable for children aged 2.5 - 5 years old.

Where the activity attracts a cost, payment is required before commencement of the activity. Payment can be in-person at the Community House or via EFT directly into the bank account.
